Content Controls
Video
This section allows you to manage the primary settings for your video, including its source, aspect ratio, and dimensions.
- Video – Select or upload the video you want to display.
- Ratio – Choose a predefined aspect ratio for your video.
- Custom width – Set a specific width for your video. (Available only when ‘Ratio’ is set to ‘custom’)
- Custom height – Define a custom height for your video. (Available only when ‘Ratio’ is set to ‘custom’)
Video Options
Enhance the viewer’s experience with additional video settings.
- Poster – Select an image to represent your video before it plays.
- Autoplay – Decide whether the video should play automatically when the page loads.
- Controls – Toggle on to provide playback controls to the viewers.
- Loop – Enable continuous play of the video.
- Muted – Silence the video’s audio by default.
- Download Button – Choose to show a download button for the video.
YouTube
For YouTube-hosted videos, control how your video loads and appears.
- Load Method – Select a method for how the YouTube video should load on your page.
- Background Image – Set a background image for your video. (Available only when ‘Load Method’ is set to ‘lightweight’)
- Logo – Choose a logo for your video. (Available only when ‘Load Method’ is set to ‘lightweight’)
- Title – Set a title for your video. (Available only when ‘Load Method’ is set to ‘lightweight’)
- Autoplay – Decide whether the video should play automatically. (Not available when ‘Load Method’ is ‘lightweight’)
- Loop – Enable continuous play of the video.
- Mute – Silence the video’s audio by default.
- Modest Branding – Hide YouTube’s branding on your video. (Available only when ‘Hide Player Controls’ is not enabled)
- Hide Player Controls – Choose whether to hide the player controls.
- Play Inline – Allow the video to play directly in the page.
- Privacy mode – Enable enhanced privacy settings. (Not available when ‘Load Method’ is ‘lightweight’)
- Start Time – Set a specific start time for your video.
- End Time – Define an end time for your video playback.
- Suggested Videos – Configure which videos are suggested at the end of playback. (Available only when ‘Loop’ is not enabled)
Vimeo
The controls in this section provide you with options for how Vimeo videos load and play on your website, as well as various presentation settings.
- Load Method – Choose the method through which the Vimeo video will load on your page.
- Autoplay – Determine whether the video starts playing automatically. (Only available when ‘Load Method’ is not set to ‘lightweight’)
- Play Inline – Allow the video to play directly within the page layout. (Only available when ‘Load Method’ is not set to ‘lightweight’)
- Loop – Set the video to play on a continuous loop. (Only available when ‘Load Method’ is not set to ‘lightweight’)
- Mute – Default the video to play without sound. (Only available when ‘Load Method’ is not set to ‘lightweight’)
- Hide Player Controls – Opt to hide the standard Vimeo player controls. (Only available when ‘Load Method’ is not set to ‘lightweight’)
- Start Time – Define a specific start time for the video playback.
- Background Image – Choose a background image for the video, providing a visual placeholder. (Only available when ‘Load Method’ is set to ‘lightweight’)
DailyMotion
This section’s controls let you customize how DailyMotion videos are loaded, played, and visually presented on your site, including player controls and branding.
- Load Method – Select the loading method for the DailyMotion video on your page.
- Autoplay – Choose if the video should play automatically upon page load.
- Controls – Customize specific elements of the video player controls. (Only available when ‘Hide Player Controls’ is not enabled)
- Hide All Controls – Opt to hide all player controls for a minimalist video presentation.
- Color – Define the color theme for the player controls. (Available unless ‘Hide All Controls’ is enabled)
- Hide Logo – Choose to hide the DailyMotion logo on the video player. (Available unless ‘Hide All Controls’ is enabled)
- Hide Video Info – Decide whether or not to display video information. (Available unless ‘Hide All Controls’ is enabled)
- Disable Sharing – Turn off the option for viewers to share the video. (Available unless ‘Hide All Controls’ is enabled)
- Mute – Default the video to play without audio.
- Start Time – Specify a starting point for the video playback.
Design Controls
Container
In this section, tailor the overall appearance of the video container, adjusting its dimensions, visual overlays, and border attributes.
- Width – Define the width of the video container.
- Overlay – Choose a color overlay for the video container, which can create visual interest or match site aesthetics.
- Borders – Fine-tune the edges of the video container.
- Radius – Adjust the curvature of the container’s corners, creating rounded edges.
- Styling – Customize border attributes such as color, width, and style.
- Shadow – Apply a drop shadow effect to give the container depth and distinction.
Spacing
Manage the spacing around the video element, ensuring it seamlessly fits within your website’s layout and design flow.
- Margin Top – Set the space above the video element.
- Margin Bottom – Determine the space below the video element.
