Section

The Section element is the baseline container for all designs in Breakdance. If you insert an element outside of a Section, a Section will be added to contain that element. The only exception to this is when editing Global Blocks, which allow elements to exist outside of Sections.

Design Controls

Layout

These controls manage the overall layout of the section, including alignment, spacing, and how elements are positioned horizontally and vertically.

Background

These controls allow you to customize the background of the section, including color, image, gradient, video, and slideshow options.

Size

These controls allow you to adjust the height and width of the section, including custom dimensions.

      • Height – Choose the height option for the section.
      • Custom Height – Set a custom height for the section. (This control is only available when Height is set to custom)
      • Min Height – Set a minimum height for the section. (This control is only available when Height is set to custom)
      • Width – Choose the width option for the section.
      • Container Width – Set a custom width for the container. (This control is only available when Width is set to custom)

Spacing

These controls manage the padding and margins around the section, ensuring appropriate spacing within the layout.

      • Padding – Adjust the padding inside the section.
      • Margin Top – Set the top margin of the section.
      • Margin Bottom – Set the bottom margin of the section.

Dividers

These controls allow you to add and customize shape dividers for the section, adding visual separation between different parts of the page. Click here to learn more about section shape dividers.

Borders

These controls allow you to customize the borders of the section, including radius, styling, and shadow effects.

      • Radius – Set the border radius for the section.
      • Styling – Configure complex border styles for the section.
      • Shadow – Add shadow effects to the section.
