Introduction to Drafting Sections in Breakdance

In this guide, learn how to mark any section as a draft. This feature is particularly useful for editing sections without displaying them on the live page.

Marking a Section as Draft

Steps to Mark a Section as Draft

1. Click the section you wish to mark as a draft.
2. Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab in the Properties panel on the left side of the builder interface.
3. Under ‘Advanced’, scroll down and toggle the ‘Draft’ option.
4. Save the changes.

Verifying Draft Status on the Front End

After marking a section as a draft and saving, you can verify its status by viewing the front end. The drafted section will not appear on the front end but remains editable in Breakdance.

Identifying a Draft Section

A section marked as a draft will have ‘Draft’ in its name and appear in a lighter color in the editor.

Removing Draft Status from a Section

1. Select the drafted section.
2. In the ‘Settings’ tab of the Properties Pane, turn off the ‘Draft’ toggle.

Additional Notes

If you encounter difficulty selecting a section directly, use the structure panel. This panel allows easier selection of sections, especially those marked as drafts. Collapse the panel to view all sections, with drafts indicated.
