Search Templates

Search templates control the layout of WordPress search results.

Create a Search Template

Go to Breakdance > Templates > Add Template, choose Search Results, enter a Title, and create the template. Click Edit in Breakdance to build its layout.

Display results the same way as Archive Templates, leaving the loop's query unset to use the visitor's search results.

Empty Results

Set the loop's When Empty block to a message, search form, or helpful links. For a separate layout, create another Search Results template with WP_Query Found Posts Count is less than 1 and higher priority.
