Cart Empty Message
Cart Empty Message displays WooCommerce's empty-cart message and related return-to-shop content. Use it when composing an empty-cart layout. WooCommerce must be installed and active.
Add and configure Cart Empty Message
- Click Add, choose Cart Empty Message, and place it in the container.
- Place the element in the custom cart layout where its empty state belongs.
- Configure Design > Spacing and Advanced.
- Inspect the page with an empty cart and check its return-to-shop destination.
- Save your changes.
This element has no children; use its own controls.
Controls
Responsive varies by breakpoint; Hover has a hover value; Shared applies across both. Linked controls have their own reference. In conditions, = means “is” and ≠ means “is not.”

Troubleshooting
The message is not visible with products in the cart
Check the intended empty-state behavior with an actually empty visitor cart.
The return-to-shop destination is wrong
Review the WooCommerce shop page assignment and any custom destination configuration.
