Tools

Open Breakdance > Settings > Tools. Each operation uses its own button, without a shared save step.

Setup and Generated Files

• Run Setup Wizard — Reopen setup.
• Regenerate CSS Cache — Rebuild generated CSS and dependencies across Breakdance content. Clear external caches afterward.
• Create Directories — Create required generated-file directories. Report filesystem errors with their path to your host.

Replace URLs

Back up the database, enter complete old and new URLs in Replace URL, and click Replace URL. Regenerate CSS and clear caches as needed.

This replaces URLs in Breakdance page data and builder preferences, with extension support. It does not migrate WordPress post content or other plugins' settings.

Export and Import Settings

Download Export File exports global options, settings, and preferences as JSON. It excludes the license key and selected caches, but can contain other sensitive configuration. Pages, templates, and separate icon database tables are excluded; export custom icons through Icon Library.

To import, back up current settings, select the file under Import Settings, click Upload Export JSON File, and confirm. Matching options are overwritten; absent options remain.

Reset

Back up before either operation:

• Soft Reset — Reinstall default icons and fallback templates, remove custom icon sets, and re-enable the skip link.
• Total Reset — Remove global options, settings, and builder preferences, then reinstall defaults.

Neither deletes authored pages.
