Popup Display Limits

Limit trigger-based openings in Breakdance > Popups > Settings. Enable Limit how often this popup shows, enter positive whole numbers, and Save. Empty fields remove restrictions; 0 does not mean “never”.

Frequency Limits

Setting Scope and reset
Per Page Load Current page view; resets on reload/navigation.
Per Session Tab session, stored in session storage; survives reloads.
Forever Browser profile across visits, stored in local storage; resets when site data is cleared.

Reaching any limit blocks trigger openings. Counts are local to the browser/device, not the WordPress account. For example, limits 1, 2, 5 allow one opening per page, two per tab session, five across visits.

Other-Popup Restriction

Do not show this popup if any other popup has already shown blocks this popup's triggers after any popup—including itself—has opened on the current page. Closing does not reset it; loading another page does. Other popups without this option can still open.

Manual Opening

A link's Action > Open bypasses both frequency and other-popup restrictions but still increases display counts. Toggle and Click triggers respect limits when opening.

Reloading does not clear session/forever counts. Use a fresh private session or clear the site's session/local storage when testing those limits.
