Fundamental Image

Fundamental Image displays a media-library image or an image URL, with alternative text and loading controls.

Edit the Element

Select it in Structure. Set Content > Image > From, then choose Media or provide URL. Configure the image size, alternative text, and loading options that appear for that source.

Style the element with selectors; shared classes affect every instance. Use Settings for conditions, interactions, animations, and attributes.

Choose Decorative only when the image conveys no information that needs a text alternative. Disable Srcset & Sizes removes the generated responsive-image attributes; use it only when the design requires that change. URL images do not supply the media-library metadata choices.

The image appears stretched: Inspect its selector width, height, and object-fit styles. Check the source image's proportions and the rendered box.
