Popup Triggers

Any configured trigger can open a popup when its location, conditions, and display limits allow.

Add a Trigger

  1. Go to Breakdance > Popups and open the popup’s Settings.
  2. Under Popup Opens When, click Add Trigger.
  3. Choose Trigger on, configure its options, and click Save.

Choose a Trigger

  • Click — A click anywhere or on a matching element.
  • Mouse Moves to Exit — The mouse pointer leaves near the viewport’s top.
  • Page Load — The page loads, with an optional delay.
  • Page Scroll — The visitor passes a scroll percentage or an element enters the viewport.
  • Page Scroll Up — The visitor starts scrolling upward.
  • User Inactivity — A period without mouse movement or keypresses.

Repeated Openings

Except selector-based Click, triggers attempt opening once per page load. Reload to retry. Multiple triggers are alternatives, not combined requirements. Check matching selectors and display limits on the saved front end. A direct Popup Open link action needs no Click trigger and bypasses those limits.
