Connect Your AI Agent
You can connect Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI agents to WordPress and Breakdance. Once connected, your agent can build pages, edit designs, and manage WordPress content from your prompts.
Connect to Your Site
- In WordPress, go to Breakdance > Settings > Agents & MCP and install or activate Agent Connector.
- Click Connect.
Follow the Connection Wizard
You're now taken to the connection wizard. Choose your agent and follow the steps in the wizard to connect it to your site.
Install Universal Abilities
We recommend installing Universal Abilities to give your agent full control of WordPress, including managing plugins, files, and site settings. Go to Agent Connector > Settings and click Install Universal Abilities. If it already shows Active, you're ready to go.
Ask AI to Build
You're now connected! Ask your agent for whatever you want to build or change in WordPress and Breakdance. Try a prompt like this:
> Create a draft About Us page for my business using Breakdance. Include an introduction, a team section, and a contact button. Ask me for the business details you need before building it.

Troubleshooting
My agent cannot access Breakdance
In Breakdance > Settings > Agents & MCP, find Enable MCP Access, check Allow agents to access this site over MCP, and click Save Changes. Reconnect your agent or refresh its tools.
