AI Writing Assistant

The AI Writing Assistant add-on connects builder writing tools to an AI service.

Connect the Add-on

1. Download its ZIP and license key from your Breakdance account. Upload and activate it under Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin.
2. Open Breakdance > Settings > AI Assistant, configure the fields below, and click Save Changes.
3. Reload the builder to use the assistant with an allowed account.

Settings

• License Key — Activate the add-on and display license status.
• OpenAI API Key — Authenticate API requests; separate from the add-on license.
• Model — Choose GPT-4o mini or GPT-4o from the add-on's available models.
• Available For — Set allowed interface access: Full Interface, Edit Content Interface Only, or No Access.
• Rate Limit — Daily token allowance; further requests are rejected once exceeded.
• Current Usage — Tokens consumed against the allowance.
• Reset Usage — Clear the local counter; provider charges and limits remain.

For request failures, check local usage limits, API-account access/billing, and WordPress REST API and outbound connectivity. The add-on's license does not grant API access.
