Install and Activate Breakdance
Breakdance installs as a WordPress plugin. Need WordPress? Fire up a local install with npm create breakdance-wp@latest, use our free demo server, or check our recommended hosts.
Install the Plugin
- Download the plugin ZIP from the customer portal or breakdance.com/latest.zip.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin, select the unopened ZIP, and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin and complete the setup wizard if shown.

"The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet."
Breakdance is a plugin, not a theme. Install it through Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin, as described in Install the Plugin above.
