Maintenance Mode

Breakdance > Settings > Maintenance Mode displays a selected page while maintenance is active.

  1. Create the page, then choose Page and Mode:
    • Disabled — Normal site.
    • (200) Coming Soon — Selected page with HTTP 200.
    • (503) Maintenance — Selected page with HTTP 503 (temporary unavailability).
  2. Configure Access Control and click Save Changes.

Allow Visitors Through

Each option provides an independent bypass:

  • Authentication Status: Logged in — All signed-in users.
  • Authentication Status: Logged in with role — Only selected User Roles.
  • Enable URL Param — Anyone using a URL with the configured parameter name and value.

Check the public result while logged out without a bypass URL; your administrator session may bypass maintenance.

To restore the site, set Mode to Disabled and save. Clear page or CDN caches if they retain the maintenance response.
