Author

Author displays information about the current post's author, including an image, name, biography, and optional links. Use it in a single-post template as an author profile.

Add and configure Author

Click Add, choose Author, and place it in the container.
Choose which Image, Name, and Biography details to display under Content.
Configure All Posts Link, Website Link, their text, Name HTML Tag, and Link On Name & Image.
Style Container, Layout, Image, Links, and Typography.
Save your changes.

This element has no children; use its own controls.

Controls

Responsive varies by breakpoint; Hover has a hover value; Shared applies across both. Linked controls have their own reference. In conditions, = means “is” and ≠ means “is not.”

Troubleshooting

The biography or website is empty

Check the author's WordPress user profile and whether that part of the Author element is enabled.

The wrong person appears

Check the post author and the current template preview context.
