Using the Design Library in Breakdance

Add sections or entire page layouts to your current design, including sections from other pages on your own website. Imported designs are independent, editable copies.

Add a Section

1. Open Add > Library, or press Cmd/Ctrl + B.
2. Choose a design set and select a page or Part to preview. Use search, type filters, or tags to find a design.
3. Hover over a section and click Add to page.
4. Close the library, customize the inserted elements, and save.

Import an Entire Page

Select a page in the library and click Import Page. Its layout is inserted into the document you are editing. To import a whole website, see Importing a Full Site.

Reuse Sections from This Website

1. Open Add > Library and choose This Website.
2. Select the page containing the section you want to reuse.
3. Hover over the section and click Add to page.

Edit the copy on your current page; the source page stays unchanged. You do not need to turn your site into a shareable design set to reuse its sections.

Import Global Settings and Design Presets

Some sets rely on shared styles. Click Import Settings, select the settings you need, and click Confirm Overwrite & Import. Available choices can include Global Settings, Design Presets, Variables, and Selectors.

This replaces the selected settings across your site, including styles used by existing pages. You can keep your current settings and customize the imported design instead.

Add a Custom Design Set

1. In WordPress admin, go to Breakdance > Settings > Design Library.
2. Paste the supplied Shareable URL into Custom Design Sets, one URL per line.
3. Click Save Changes, then select the set in the builder library. Enter its password if prompted.
