Repeater Fields

The Repeater Field element repeats a Global Block for each row of a repeater custom field on the current item, such as opening hours, specifications, or team members.

Choosing the Field

In the Content tab, open Field and choose your Repeater Field. Edit the field's rows on the post to change which items appear.

Breakdance reads ACF Repeater fields and supported Meta Box cloneable groups. Meta Box groups require the MB Group extension.

Building the Row Design

Choose a Global Block under Repeated Block to design each row, and set the Tag that wraps it. Inside the block, connect elements to the repeater's subfields so each row displays its own data. See Dynamic Data.

Layout and Repeated Items

Use the Design tab to configure the layout and appearance. With Accordion or Tabs, Item Title supplies the label for each accordion header or tab. See the Repeater Field layout and design controls.

The Advanced popout under Repeated Block provides alternate and static items and an empty state.

Troubleshooting

No Repeater Fields Appear in the Dropdown

Check that your field plugin is active and that you have created a supported repeater field or cloneable group. For Meta Box groups, activate MB Group.

The Builder Shows “This Element Has No Content”

If the field selector shows No field selected, choose a repeater field. Check that the item being previewed has rows in that field.
