Multilingual Plugins

Multilingual plugins translate site content and provide language-specific URLs. WordPress's interface language does not translate page content.

Translate Content

  1. Install and configure the translation plugin:
    • Weglot — Connect the service and select source/destination languages.
    • TranslatePress — Set site languages and translate the rendered page in its editor.
    • Polylang — Assign languages and establish translated-content relationships.
  2. Save the Breakdance content, then translate it through the plugin's workflow. Include shared headers, footers, popups, and form messages.

For dynamic data, translate its source or rendered output according to the plugin's method. Static page translations do not translate every dynamic source. The plugin also controls language-specific links.

Breakdance includes compatibility handling for TranslatePress's editor.
