Shortcode

Shortcode renders the output of a WordPress shortcode registered by WordPress or an active plugin. Use it for an existing plugin feature that provides a shortcode.

Add and configure Shortcode

  1. Click Add, choose Shortcode, and place it in the container.
  2. Paste the complete shortcode into Content > Shortcode > Full Shortcode.
  3. Configure Design > Container, Typography, and Spacing for the output wrapper.
  4. Check the shortcode provider's own settings if its internal layout needs adjustment.
  5. Save your changes.

Controls

Responsive varies by breakpoint; Hover has a hover value; Shared applies across both. Linked controls have their own reference. In conditions, = means “is” and ≠ means “is not.”

Troubleshooting

The shortcode appears as plain text

Confirm the shortcode name is correct and its provider is active. Breakdance does not register a third-party shortcode merely because you paste it here.

Typography does not override the plugin output

The shortcode may generate its own styles or embedded content. Check the provider's styling options and the rendered markup.
