If you’re looking for the best WordPress landing page builder, it’s important to consider all the angles.
While a tool that easily builds pretty pages is great, there are many layers to these tools. Some are important, and some don’t matter as much as you think.
In this article, we’re going to take a look at 10 of the most popular WordPress landing page builders and compare them to determine which one is the best for building landing pages in 2024.
We’re almost ready to dive in and start comparing the details. But first, let’s take a look at each builder we’re going to compare, along with their pricing.

Breakdance | Yes | $99.99/yr | Yes |
Oxygen | No | $129/ltd | Yes |
Divi Builder | No | $89/yr | Yes |

Stackable | Yes | $49/yr | No |
Visual Composer | Yes | $49/yr or $149/ltd | No |
We’ll dive deeper into pricing in each page builder’s individual section. Now that you have an idea of the tools we’re reviewing and their pricing, let’s get started on our detailed look at each one.
Breakdance is the modern visual site builder for WordPress. A fresh take with a heavy dose of familiar UI, Breakdance brings the best of modern technology to the sometimes dated world of WordPress landing page builders.
It focuses on ease of use while still having plenty of depth, power, and flexibility for more advanced users. It achieves this by tucking the more complex aspects of the page builder away, while making them easily available via keyboard shortcuts for those who know what they’re looking for.
Here are our top six pros for Breakdance:
There are a couple of minor downsides, however:
With all that considered, who is Breakdance best for? In our opinion, it’s best for anyone who wants a modern, user-friendly visual site builder with enough power features to grow with you. Whether you’re slinging code or dragging & dropping your way to beautiful sites, Breakdance makes it easy, fast, and enjoyable.
Finally, let’s take a closer look at Breakdance’s plans and pricing.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Free | $0.00 | Unlimited |
Pro – Single Site | $99.99/yr | 1 |
Pro – Unlimited Sites | $199.99/yr | Unlimited |
Agency | $799.99/yr | Unlimited |
Oxygen is the world’s most advanced visual site builder. Focused on providing advanced tools for professionals and developers, it offers infinite flexibility when building your WordPress site.
This landing page builder offers an incredible number of technical capabilities, such as a full-featured code block for writing PHP, HTML, CSS, JS. It also features an advanced query builder where you can visually assemble a WP_Query. Its repeater allows you to visually build custom loops, and its conditions feature lets you show or hide elements based on virtually any data in WordPress.
Whereas a builder like Breakdance offers beautiful styles out of the box, Oxygen is more bare-bones, leaving the design decisions almost entirely up to you.
Here are our top six pros for Oxygen:
And a few downsides:
Now for the big question: who should use Oxygen? It’s a more advanced tool with fewer shortcuts, which makes it harder to get started if you’re brand new to WordPress or web design. If you’re a technically skilled developer or designer, Oxygen is a refreshing tool to use because it doesn’t box you in. That being said, newbies can learn it in time and it does help you get a deeper understanding of the code behind the sites you build.
Now, let’s take a look at Oxygen’s plans and pricing.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Basic | $129 | Unlimited |
WooCo | $149 | Unlimited |
Ultimate | $179 | Unlimited |
Divi Builder is an old-school competitor in the landing page builder space. Once upon a time, it was touted for ease of use and an absolutely enormous design library. While the latter holds true, modern user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) trends have outpaced it, making the experience a bit more clunky than in some other builders.
Divi 5, still un-released, is a complete re-write of the builder engine. From early reviews, it appears that while it makes some improvements, the UI and UX are largely unchanged. There are also some complaints about accessibility.
Here are our top six pros for Divi Builder:
And now for some downsides:
In our opinion, Divi is for beginners who want to build a variety of websites using pre-built templates. It’s a reasonable choice if that is your approach. More advanced users, however, are likely to be unsatisfied by its poor performance and clunky interface.
Finally, let’s take a look at Divi Builder’s current plans and pricing.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Divi Yearly | $89 | Unlimited |
Divi Pro Yearly | $277 | Unlimited |
Divi Lifetime | $249 | Unlimited |
Divi Pro Lifetime | $297* | Unlimited |
*The Pro Lifetime plan still requires a $212/year subscription for Divi Pro Services.
Beaver Builder is another long-running competitor. Founded in 2014 under a different name, Beaver Builder has gained a reputation for slow, steady growth and stability.
While this is a respectable approach, Beaver Builder is missing a few features and could benefit from a more aggressive release cycle. It also gates many features behind an additional Beaver Themer purchase, which makes it a more costly investment.
Here are our top six pros for Beaver Builder:
And here are the main downsides:
Beaver Builder is well suited for someone building very basic websites who values stability over new features and improvements. With a lack of some features that are expected in a modern builder, you may find yourself reaching for additional plugins or add-ons, thereby increasing the cost of the license.
Here’s a look at the current plans and pricing for Beaver Builder.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Standard | $99 | Unlimited |
Pro | $199 | Unlimited |
Agency | $399 | Unlimited |
Ultimate* | $546 | Unlimited |
Beaver Themer | $147 | Unlimited |
*Includes Beaver Themer, required if you want to customize your entire site and use conditions.
Elementor is a well-known page builder turned theme builder, and is also widely used as a landing page builder. Whether it’s the best WordPress landing page builder (or not) remains to be seen.
With many years since its launch in 2016, Elementor has certainly grown and evolved. It has managed to keep up with current user interface and user experience trends at a decent pace, but has lagged behind on releasing some features users desperately want. For instance, Elementor’s mega menu builder is still (as of the writing of this article) behind an experimental flag.
It should also be noted that, upon visiting their site, it’s clear that they’re placing an emphasis on their hosted Elementor and WordPress service over the stand-alone builder. This raises some questions as to how they’ll prioritize features and releases for the Elementor builder in the future as they reach for a wider audience.
Here are our top six pros for Elementor:
And now for some downsides:
Elementor is best suited for the person just starting out on their WordPress journey, who needs to quickly get a basic site up and running themselves. This means DIYers and beginning developers tend to gravitate toward Elementor, primarily because it is a well-known name and may feel like a safer choice.
Here are Elementor’s current plans and pricing.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Essential | $59 | 1 |
Advanced | $99 | 3 |
Expert | $199 | 25 |
Agency | $399 | 1000 |
Brizy is a lesser-known WordPress landing page builder, but has been around about as long as Oxygen and Elementor. It takes a simplistic approach, giving you just enough tools to design attractive pages within the confines of its limitations.
Brizy also comes in a cloud-hosted flavor, similar to Elementor. Brizy is clearly focused on this offering, as it’s the pricing page that shows when you click the primary CTA on their website.
Here are our top six pros for Brizy:
And some downsides:
Brizy is an interesting option. It’s nestled in an odd gap between simple and easy to use. While it is simple, and offers limited design options thereby reducing decision fatigue, its interface is not intuitive enough for complete beginners. Brizy seems like a decent choice for anyone wanting to build a membership site, who would rather their page builder handle membership functionality than a dedicated membership plugin.
Here’s a look at Brizy’s current plans and pricing.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Personal | $59 | 1 |
Freelancer | $99 | 25 |
Agency | $199 | 50 |
White-label | $299 | 100 |
Spectra is a block-based WordPress landing page builder. It leans heavily on Gutenberg (the Block Editor), with a number of custom blocks that can be used to design your site. It also modifies the Block Editor interface to provide additional design controls.
If you love the Block Editor experience, Spectra may be worth considering. Bear in mind that you’ll still be reliant on a theme with Spectra, and you’ll have to deal with the quirks of the still-growing Block Editor as WordPress irons out the kinks.
Here are our top six pros for Spectra:
And here are the downsides:
Spectra is for someone who wants to keep using traditional themes and enjoys the Block Editor. It may be good for beginners, but since the Block Editor isn’t the most user-friendly design environment for building WordPress landing pages, it may be better suited for more veteran WordPress users who know what they’re getting into.
Here’s a peek at Spectra’s current plans and pricing.
Plan* | Price | Sites |
Spectra Pro | $49 | 1 |
Essential Toolkit | $79 | 1 |
Business Toolkit | $149 | 1 |
*These are Spectra’s single-site, yearly license prices. Spectra also offers 10 and 1000 site licenses in both yearly and LTD flavors.
Similar to Spectra, Kadence is a theme and block combo that leans heavily on Gutenberg (the Block Editor) for its actual page builder environment. It adds functionality and blocks to Gutenberg to make it possible to build complete websites.
If you’re interested in adding a third-party layer ontop of Gutenberg to make it better for building WordPress landing pages, Kadence may be an option worth considering.
Here are our top five pros for Kadence:
And a few downsides:
Kadence, like Spectra, sits in a strange valley between beginner and pro. With its starter site template library, it could be quite beginner friendly, but Gutenberg complicates things significantly. Plus, as a new WordPress user, it can be very confusing to have Gutenberg be your page builder… but not really, because it’s being modified beyond recognition by Kadence’s blocks and enhancements. Is Kadence really a page builder, or is it just a Gutenberg add-on at that point?
Here are the current plans and pricing for Kadence.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Essential Bundle | $149 | Unlimited |
Full Bundle | $279 | Unlimited |
Stackable is another landing page builder that leans on Gutenberg (or the Block Editor) as its primary environment, but adds a number of useful blocks to help you build complete designs.
With around 44 blocks in the Pro version, Stackable has a fairly robust set of features. The major concern here is that it is a layer on top of an already existing page builder: Gutenberg. Rather than being its own standalone builder, it shoehorns additional functionality into Gutenberg in an attempt to make it a full-featured landing page builder. This may or may not be an issue for you, but it’s worth considering.
Pros:
Here are a few downsides we noticed:
Stackable is a great option if you love Gutenberg and wish it could do more. Since it doesn’t come bundled with its own theme, you can use whichever theme you want, including premium paid themes. By combining your theme with Stackable, you can use Gutenberg to build out your landing pages.
Here are the current plans and pricing for Stackable:
Plan | Price | Sites |
Personal | $49 | 1 |
Business | $99 | 10 |
Agency | $149 | Unlimited |
Agency Lifetime | $499 LTD | Unlimited |
Visual Composer, maybe the longest-running contender on this list, is a WordPress landing page builder that started around 2011. Some people write it off due to poor experiences with WPBakery, another page builder by the same developer, but it’s important to evaluate Visual Composer on its own merits.
While its interface does show its age, you’re still able to build landing pages in WordPress with visual composer. You’ll have access to most of the features you’d expect. Unfortunately, however, you still have to buy a theme (or use a free one), though Visual Composer does allow you to create theme overrides via its builder.
Here are our top six pros for Visual Composer:
And here are a few downsides:
Visual Composer is probably a good fit if you used page builders in the early 2010s and are comfortable with that type of interface. It provides the basics you’ll need to build WordPress landing pages without too many extra bells and whistles. This could lead to a more light-weight site, but it still relies on a theme, which means there will be significant overhead by default (depending on the theme you choose.)
Here are the current plans and pricing for Visual Composer.
Plan | Price | Sites |
Single | $49 | 1 |
Plus | $99 | 5 |
Accelerate | $149 | 20 |
Agency | $349 | 1000 |
We’ve taken a quick look at 10 popular WordPress landing page builders and compiled a list of pros and cons. Now it’s time to figure out which one we think is the best WordPress landing page builder.
With an eye to feature-completeness, ease of use, and even advanced features for professional users, Breakdance is the total package. Where some of the other landing page builders have bits and pieces of the features you’ll need to build landing pages, each seems to miss one or two critical parts of the puzzle. Breakdance, however, has all the great features the other builders include, and even more like: a powerful popup builder, premium-grade form builder with tons of marketing integrations, conditional element display, and user-friendly interface.
Coming in second is Oxygen. While it’s a full-featured and incredibly powerful tool, it may be less suited for landing pages if you’re a DIYer or WordPress beginner. Due to its steep learning curve, Oxygen is often a sound choice for large, complex sites rather than individual one-off landing pages.
