Breakdance Beta 8

Breakdance Beta 8 is now available.

We renamed and tweaked a number of element properties. Any designs that use the properties that we moved, removed, or renamed will no longer look exactly the same. You will have to open up your design in Breakdance and set the property again. See below for a list of elements and properties that were tweaked.

Dynamic Data Polish

• fix Advanced Custom Fields not working in Post Loop Builder
• fix Advanced Custom Fields URL field
• fix dynamically set link URLs for numerous elements
• make all data points available when editing a Global Block
• fix post archive prefix toggle value not returning false

Element Polish & Fixes

• section – problems when using more than one shape divider
• all elements with Text Colors > Primary – rename to Text Colors > Brand
• soundcloud element – remove it entirely. If you want SoundCloud, paste the embed code into a Code Block. They tweak stuff too often and half the options they supposedly have don’t work.
• column – remove padding bars
• posts list – load more button – support primary, secondary, etc.
• frequently asked questions – significant tweaks
