Breakdance 2.8.1 is now available. This is a minor release that addresses bugs reported in Breakdance 2.8.

- Design Library cache – Adding or removing a Custom Design Set now refreshes the Design Library immediately. Previously it kept showing a stale, cached list of templates until a hard reload.
- Dynamic data controls – Dynamic data field controls now update as you type. Changes to a field’s input are reflected right away instead of lagging behind.
- Dynamic data attributes – Fixed the Custom Format field and its condition controls inside dynamic data attribute settings.
- Icon Manager – The Save button now correctly saves uploaded SVG icons.
- Multi-select on Windows – Multi-element selection now uses the correct modifier key on Windows, so shift/ctrl-selecting multiple elements works as expected.
- Structure panel scrolling – Clicking an element on the canvas again scrolls the Structure panel to that element and highlights it.
- Structure panel layering – Resolved z-index issues that could cause the Structure panel to render behind other UI.
- Variable fonts – Fixed Noto Sans (and other variable fonts) failing to load because of a truncated font-axis value.
- Builder favicon – Restored the builder tab’s favicon.
- Button-bar controls – Fixed buttons being cut off in multi-line button-bar controls (for example, the “Show Products” field on the Products List element).
- Conditions preview – Restored the Conditions preview indicator, fixing the empty Condition column on the Templates, Headers, and Footers admin pages (configured conditions were applied on the front end but no longer displayed in the list).
- Template Content Area – Restored the default
<main> tag on the Template Content Area element (a missing main landmark was being flagged by SEO/PageSpeed tools).
