Style Guide required, Instructions optional.
Showcase your element styling in one place. Add editor notes only if they help explain setup or logic.
Include a Style Guide page with all core Breakdance elements: headings, text, text links, buttons and Rich Text element.
All interactive controls should have hover states.
Rich Text element should include: lists, blockquote, code. Use realistic copy.
All styling must come from Global Styles.
Add an Instructions page (optional) for editors describing conditions, dynamic data, popups, global blocks (if applicable), forms, custom post types. custom code or animations.
Test like a user, not a designer. Templates must work end-to-end on all devices and match your demo perfectly.
Check links, forms, animations, and dynamic content.
Preview on multiple devices and browsers.
Confirm accessibility and PageSpeed pass baseline.
Names should sound like brands, not SEO keywords. Thumbnails should sell the design, not shout about it.
Name: Short, unique name (1–3 words). No trademarked or keyword-stuffed titles. No "Breakdance" or "template".
Thumbnail 1200px x 1600px, no overlays, under 500kB (WebP)
Description: write 1–3 sentences explaining the template’s purpose, tone, and ideal audience. Mention key features or integrations briefly (e.g., “Ideal for small SaaS startups with pricing tables and testimonials ready.”).
Avoid “marketing fluff” like best, ultimate, professional. Focus on what makes the design genuinely useful.
Consistency starts here. Global Styles make it easy for buyers to restyle a site in minutes without touching individual elements. Every approved template must rely fully on them.
Define your complete design system inside Global Settings before you begin building.
All typography, colors, and buttons must reference Global Variables, not local overrides.
Typography: set your full scale (H1–H6, body, buttons). Line heights should stay consistent across devices.
Colors: configure brand palette. Use these variables everywhere (no custom hex codes).
Structure defines quality. Good layout isn’t just visual, it determines how easily users can restyle and maintain a template.
Build every page starting with a Section. Each section represents a clear content band (hero, features, testimonials, footer).
Use Columns only when you need independent alignment. For simple grouping, use Divs.
Keep hierarchy shallow. Deeper nesting hurts performance and editing clarity.
Use the layout engine’s Gap, Align, and Justify controls for spacing, not random margins or padding on child elements.
Use Advanced Flex/Grid only when standard controls can’t achieve the design
Ensure semantic tags are applied appropriately in the HTML Attributes panel
Use realistic, inclusive demo content. No lorem ipsum, no real brands.
Match the chosen vertical.
Use placeholder logos.

Add alt text
Use real copy. No lorem ipsum.
Use clear, inclusive copy and imagery. Avoid cultural or political references.
Design for clarity and action. Visitors should instantly see what to do.
Single goal: One main CTA per page. Secondary actions stay subtle.
Above the fold: Headline, value, and main CTA visible without scrolling.
CTA placement: Repeat after key sections and in the footer. Add sticky CTA on mobile.
Hierarchy: Use color, size, and spacing to guide attention to the main action.
Trust: Place testimonials, ratings, or logos near CTAs.
Objections: Add short FAQ or guarantee near decision points
If it’s a shop, make it shop-ready. Style every native element and test the full checkout flow.
Style all default WooCommerce pages.
Include 16 demo products (2 variable).
Use real product imagery
Test all Breakdance WooCommerce elements
Build once, reuse everywhere. Presets and Global Blocks keep templates consistent and easy to maintain.
Use Global Blocks and Presets for repeating patterns.
Use Clear names like “Latest Posts / Card"

Color contrast: Minimum 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large or bold text.

Structure: Include semantic landmarks so screen readers understand the layout.
We value craft, not volume. Templates that succeed in the marketplace are polished, intentional, and built to last, not mass-produced.
Submitting large numbers of low-effort designs will not improve visibility or ranking.
Our review process prioritizes quality, usability, and originality, not upload frequency.
Each submission should feel complete: tested, documented, and visually refined.
Designers who consistently meet or exceed standards will see their templates featured more prominently.
Excessive low-quality or repetitive submissions may result in temporary submission limits or removal from the program.
Polished, purposeful, and easy to customize. These examples show the level of attention we expect from every submission.
